Who can take part
- Be age 20 or older
- Have lung symptoms and chest imaging, and meet the study’s lung mycobacteria (NTM) diagnosis criteria (or be in one of the specific comparison groups described below)
- Be willing to provide sample(s) related to lung testing (such as sputum/culture results) and a blood test for the study marker
- If you have pulmonary tuberculosis (TB), you must have culture-positive TB or typical TB lung findings to join the TB group
- If you are a “healthy control,” you must be without the lung disease being studied
- Do not have acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)
