Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You have a single liver tumor 5 cm or smaller that has not spread to blood vessels or other parts of your body.
  • Your liver is healthy enough (Child-Pugh A) and has enough healthy tissue left after surgery.
  • You feel well enough to do daily activities (Karnofsky score 90 or higher).
  • Your blood counts and liver and kidney function are within safe limits.
