Prenatal nutrition and care study in Guatemala

Who can take part

  • You are at least 15 years old and in the second trimester of pregnancy.
  • You live in the Trifinio region of southwest Guatemala during the study and for 2 years after giving birth.
  • You are willing to follow the program instructions, prepare specific foods, fill out forms, and attend caregiving sessions.
  • Your baby does not need to stay in the hospital for 21 days or more after birth.
  • You are willing to sign a consent form for yourself and your child.
