Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You lost your sense of smell after a viral illness and it has not fully returned.
  • Your smell loss is confirmed by a standard smell test.
  • You have not used steroid nose sprays in the last 2 weeks or steroid pills in the last 4 weeks.
  • You do not have severe nasal blockage, a current respiratory infection, or uncontrolled allergies.
  • You are not pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
