Who can take part

  • Child aged 2 to 12 years, with or without autism
  • For the autism group: a clinical diagnosis of autism based on DSM-5
  • Infants under 24 months with a parent or sibling who has autism
  • Parents of the enrolled children can also participate
  • No significant medical or neurological conditions (like epilepsy)
  • No known genetic syndromes or dysmorphic features
  • Not currently taking medications or psychotropic drugs
