Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 45 years old.
  • You are a trained cyclist with a VO2max above 55 (level 3) or 65 (level 4) depending on your group.
  • You can produce a peak power output over 4.6 watts per kilogram of body weight.
  • You have been cycling more than 5 hours per week for at least a year.
  • You do not have any metabolic, heart, or gut problems, and you are not allergic to maple or fructose.
