Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old
  • You have varicose veins that cause symptoms (like pain or heaviness) and are classified as C2 to C4 on a severity scale
  • Your great saphenous vein (a main leg vein) is leaky, confirmed by ultrasound with reflux lasting more than 0.5 seconds
  • The diameter of that vein is between 5 and 12 mm
  • You are scheduled to have radiofrequency ablation for your varicose veins
  • You can sign a consent form to participate
