Who can take part
- You must be between 18 and 80 years old.
- You must have a diagnosis of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) that cannot be removed by surgery or other procedures like ablation.
- You must have at least one tumor in the liver that can be measured on a CT or MRI scan, and it must be 1 cm or larger.
- Your liver function must be good enough (Child-Pugh score A or mild B, up to 7 points), and your overall health should allow you to be up and about (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You must not have cancer that has spread outside the liver, and you must not have other types of cancer.
- Your blood counts, kidney function, and heart function must meet certain minimum levels, and any side effects from previous treatments must have mostly resolved.
