Virtual Reality with Bobath Therapy for Spastic Cerebral Palsy

Who can take part

  • You are between 2 and 14 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with spastic cerebral palsy affecting both legs or one side of the body.
  • You have some ability to walk or move with or without help (GMFCS levels I to III).
  • You have tightness in your leg muscles (spasticity) that a doctor has measured as at least mild.
  • You can understand and follow simple instructions for your age.
  • You have not had leg surgery or botulinum toxin (Botox) shots in your legs in the last 6 months.
  • You do not have severe learning difficulties, uncontrolled seizures, or serious vision, balance, or hearing problems that would make virtual reality unsafe.
