Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled for keyhole surgery to remove part or all of your stomach (laparoscopic radical gastrectomy)
- You have not been taking strong pain medicines like opioids for more than 3 months
- You do not have severe kidney or liver disease
- You are not allergic to numbing medicines like lidocaine
