Who can take part

  • You have a specific type of brain tumor called a hypothalamic-chiasmatic tumor.
  • You are between 7 and 30 years old.
  • You have been obese since after age 5, with a BMI above the 97th percentile for your age and sex.
  • You are well enough to have a daily activity score above 40 (a measure of how active you are).
  • You do not have certain rare metabolic conditions that would make the diet unsafe.
