Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You have a type of kidney cancer called clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC), confirmed by a biopsy.
- Your cancer is at a stage where surgery to remove the kidney tumor is planned, and it is either stage 2 with high-grade features, stage 3 or higher, or has spread to nearby lymph nodes.
- You are in good physical condition (able to do light work or be fully active).
- You have not had any prior treatment for your kidney cancer, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Your heart, lungs, kidney, and liver function must be within safe limits as shown by blood and oxygen tests.
