Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with kidney cancer that has a 'clear cell' component (a common type, determined by biopsy).
- Your tumor is at a high risk stage, such as stage T2 with grade 4, or T3, T4, or has spread to nearby lymph nodes, but has not spread to other organs.
- You are planning to have surgery to remove the kidney tumor.
- You are in generally good health (able to care for yourself, ECOG score 0-1) and have adequate organ function.
- You have not received previous immunotherapy for kidney cancer, and you do not have active autoimmune disease or poorly controlled high blood pressure.
