Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You are currently taking tirzepatide (a medication for diabetes or weight loss).
  • You have not eaten solid food for at least 8 hours and have not had any liquids with particles (like milk and juice) for at least 2 hours.
  • You are not pregnant or recently gave birth.
  • You do not have any condition that slows stomach emptying (like diabetes with nerve damage, scleroderma, or stomach surgery).
  • You are not taking medications that speed up stomach emptying, such as bromopride, metoclopramide, or domperidone.
