Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with stomach adenocarcinoma (a type of stomach cancer).
  • You are scheduled to have surgery to remove the cancer (radical gastrectomy) with the goal of a cure.
  • You had a CT scan of your abdomen (with contrast dye) within 14 days before your surgery.
  • You have not had any other cancer in the last 5 years (except stomach cancer).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
