Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with a type of leukemia called acute myeloid leukemia (AML).
- You are 60 years or older, or you are 18-59 with certain health problems like heart, lung, or kidney disease, or a low performance status.
- You started treatment with a combination of azacitidine (a shot) and venetoclax (a pill) for 12-14 days.
- You do not have certain genetic types of AML like promyelocytic leukemia or a translocation called t(8;21).
- You have not had a stem cell transplant before, and you are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
