  • Your child is between 3 and 9 years old
  • Your child is generally healthy (classified as ASA I or II)
  • Your child needs a distal shoe as part of their dental care
  • Your child is having a distal shoe space maintainer placed
  • A parent or caregiver can agree to the study and bring your child to follow-up visits
