Who can take part

  • You have Parkinson's disease, confirmed by a movement disorder specialist.
  • You have a DBS device (Boston Scientific Vercise Genus) placed in the STN or GPi area of your brain.
  • You have had DBS therapy for at least 6 months, and it is working well for you.
  • You have not had any other brain surgery besides DBS.
  • You do not have dementia (serious memory or thinking problems).
  • You do not have atypical parkinsonism (a different type of Parkinson-like disorder).
