Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You have been diagnosed with heart failure that has recently gotten worse (acute decompensated heart failure).
- You have atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) documented in the last year.

- You are not pregnant and do not plan to become pregnant during the trial.
- You have not had a heart attack in the last 3 months and are not planning heart surgery in the next 6 months.
