  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have a kidney stone that is less than about 1.6 cm (1.6 cm) in its longest dimension
  • Your doctor has said you need a procedure called RIRS (a telescope-guided stone removal through the urinary tract)
  • You are willing to sign a consent form to participate
  • You do not have any condition that makes surgery risky, like a serious infection, bleeding disorder, or advanced cancer
