Measuring foot calluses in people with and without diabetes

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have at least one hard, thickened spot (callus or corn) on the bottom of your foot, but the skin is not broken open
  • If you have diabetes, you must not have had a foot ulcer in the last year or have an active foot sore now
  • You must be able to stand on your own for at least 30 seconds
  • You have not had foot surgery in the last 6 months, and you have not used callus-removing creams or had the callus removed by a doctor in the last 15 days
