Who can take part
- You must be healthy (no diabetes) or have type 1 or 2 diabetes with diabetic foot disease.
- If healthy: your fasting blood sugar must be under 6.1 mmol/L and your A1c under 6.0%.
- Your feet must not have any open wounds, infections, or skin conditions like athlete's foot or eczema.
- You cannot have had foot surgery, trauma, or fractures that left scars.
- You cannot have other diseases that affect skin health, such as arthritis or blood vessel problems.
