- You are 18 years old or older
- You speak English
- You have been diagnosed with cancer at some point
- You often feel lonely (score 6 or higher on a short loneliness questionnaire)
- You are not in a nursing home, assisted living, or hospital for long-term care
- You do not have a major surgery scheduled soon and do not have severe memory problems or active psychosis
