- You are between 18 and 80 years old.
- You live below 800 meters (about 2,600 feet) and have not been above 2,500 meters (about 8,200 feet) for more than 24 hours in the last three weeks.
- You have no known heart or lung problems, including a history of high-altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE).
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You can follow study instructions and do not have serious health issues like kidney or liver disease.
