Breathing low-oxygen training to support brain blood flow in seniors

This study tests whether brief “low-oxygen” conditioning can improve blood flow to the brain and overall cerebrovascular (brain blood vessel) health in older adults. It may help people who are generally less active, as long as they have no major medical or safety barriers for the training.

How low oxygen affects heart function in healthy adults

This study tests how your heart’s right ventricle handles low oxygen (like at high altitude) in healthy adults. You will be exposed to a low-oxygen environment for a short time to see how your heart responds.

Hypoxia and hemodilution testing in healthy adults

This study tests how healthy adults respond to low oxygen levels and blood dilution. It may help improve monitoring for patients in critical care.

How low oxygen affects heart function in asthma

This study tests how your heart's right ventricle adapts when you breathe lower-oxygen air (like at high altitude). If you have well-controlled asthma, researchers want to see if your heart handles the challenge differently.

NCT06142019Recruiting
Testing pulse oximeters in healthy adults during low oxygen

This study checks how well pulse oximeters (the devices that clip on your finger to measure oxygen levels) work when healthy people breathe lower-oxygen air. It helps make sure these devices are accurate for everyone.

Exercise in low oxygen for young men

This study tests whether exercising in a low-oxygen environment (like high altitude) can affect stress, inflammation, and energy in your body. It is for young males who are generally healthy and can exercise safely.
