Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You live in rural Mississippi (like a town or area that's not a big city).
  • You plan to stay in Mississippi for the next 6 months.
  • You have your own cellphone with unlimited texts.
  • You want to quit tobacco and have tried to quit at least once in the past 6 months.
  • You smoke 5 or more cigarettes a day, OR use smokeless tobacco 3 or more times a day, OR use both on at least 15 days each month for the past 6 months.
  • You are not currently using e-cigarettes or stop-smoking medicines, and you don't have a serious mental health condition.
