Who can take part

  • You are between 21 and 65 years old
  • You have never used a classic psychedelic (like LSD, psilocybin, or ayahuasca) or dissociative drug (like ketamine or PCP), or only once more than 5 years ago with no bad effects
  • You are in good physical health, with a body mass index between 18 and 34, and a waist size under 90 cm for women or 97 cm for men
  • You have no current or past drug or alcohol dependence, no serious mental health conditions (like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder), and no heart or other medical problems that could be made worse by psilocybin
  • You are not taking certain medications (like antidepressants, lithium, or St. John's Wort) and can use reliable birth control if you could become pregnant
