Pain monitoring during nose surgery

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You are in good general health (classified as ASA I or II).
  • You are scheduled for a primary septoplasty (first-time nose surgery to fix a deviated septum).
  • You do not have any known heart rhythm problems or heart conditions.
  • You are not taking beta-blockers or antiarrhythmic heart medications.
  • You have not had previous nose surgery and are not having any other procedures done at the same time.
