Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome based on nerve tests (EMG) and a physical exam
  • You have not had carpal tunnel surgery in the past
  • You do not have diabetes, a rheumatoid condition, or an active infection
  • You are not pregnant, and do not have an implanted electronic device like a pacemaker
  • You have not had wrist therapy or a steroid injection in the last 6 months, and you don't regularly take certain pain medications (such as pregabalin or NSAIDs)
