- Your doctor confirmed carpal tunnel with nerve tests showing mild to moderate damage
- You have not had carpal tunnel surgery before
- You haven't had physical therapy or a wrist injection for this condition in the last 6 months
- You do not have other conditions that could cause similar symptoms, like diabetes, thyroid problems, or a wrist fracture
- You are not pregnant and do not have a pacemaker or cochlear implant
