Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma in your trunk or an arm or leg
  • You are scheduled to receive radiation therapy before surgery for your sarcoma
  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You are willing to follow all study procedures and attend visits
  • Your sarcoma is not too large for ultrasound (shorter side no bigger than 10 cm at 2 cm depth)
  • You do not have other cancers needing active treatment, metastatic disease, or prior radiation to the same area
