Ultrasound treatment for soft tissue sarcoma tumors

Soft Tissue SarcomaDesmoid Tumors

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This trial tests a non-surgical ultrasound treatment (HIFU) that targets the tumor from the outside of the body. It may help by shrinking or controlling certain types of soft tissue sarcoma or desmoid tumors when they are hard to remove surgically or when surgery/chemo/radiation is not a good option.

NCT07436364Recruiting· Early Phase 1
Ultrasound to monitor sarcoma response to radiation

This trial uses contrast-enhanced ultrasound to see how well soft tissue sarcoma responds to radiation therapy given before surgery. The goal is to find out if this imaging method can help doctors assess treatment effects earlier.

NCT05755113Recruiting· Phase 2
Testing a drug injected into tumors for soft tissue sarcoma

This trial tests whether a medicine injected directly into a tumor can shrink or control advanced soft tissue sarcoma. It mainly looks for people whose tumors can be safely injected with a hand exam or ultrasound.

NCT07432932Recruiting
Personalized treatment before surgery for high-risk sarcoma

This trial tests a precision medicine approach by giving targeted therapy before surgery for high-risk soft tissue sarcoma. The goal is to see if matching treatment to your tumor's type can improve outcomes.

London
NCT07173972Recruiting· Phase 2
Proton radiation for inoperable soft tissue sarcoma

This trial studies a high-dose, shortened course of proton beam radiation for people with soft tissue sarcoma that cannot be removed by surgery. It aims to improve tumor control while reducing side effects.

Bergen
NCT05301283Recruiting· Phase 2
Adaptive radiation therapy before surgery for soft-tissue sarcoma

This trial tests a personalized (“adaptive”) radiation plan before surgery for high-grade soft-tissue sarcoma that can be removed. It may help shrink the tumor and improve how well surgery can treat the cancer.

Tampa, Florida
NCT05839275Recruiting· Phase 1/Phase 2
Radiation plus two medicines for high-risk soft tissue sarcoma

This Phase 1/2 trial tests whether combining radiation with two targeted/immune medicines can shrink or control high-risk soft tissue sarcoma and improve outcomes. It may help patients whose tumors are large, hard to fully remove, or have come back after prior treatment.
