Who can take part

  • You are between 20 and 80 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 30 and 39, which is considered obesity.
  • You have not lost 3% or more of your weight in the last 3 months.
  • You are not taking any weight-loss medications or participating in a weight-loss program.
  • You do not have type 1 diabetes or uncontrolled type 2 diabetes, and you are not using insulin.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy or fatherhood in the next 6 months.
