Who can take part

  • You are between 60 and 79 years old.
  • You can walk on a treadmill for 30 minutes at a comfortable pace with short rests.
  • You have at least one vascular risk factor, such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol.
  • You have a parent or sibling with dementia, or you yourself have noticed changes in your memory or thinking.
  • You are not currently doing structured high-intensity resistance training.
  • You do not have serious neurological or heart conditions that make exercise unsafe.
