Who can take part
- You have a solid tumor (like lung, liver, or breast cancer) that is larger than 5 cm and cannot be surgically removed.
- You are able to perform daily activities ranging from fully active to completely disabled (ECOG 0-4).
- You need radiation therapy to help with symptoms (palliative care) for a tumor larger than 5 cm.
- You are not pregnant and will not become pregnant or father a child for at least 90 days after treatment.
- You can complete pain questionnaires and keep a pain diary.
- You have not had radiation in the past that would overlap with the new treatment area.
