Who can take part
- Age 18 or older
- Good enough health to tolerate radiation (ECOG score below 2, meaning you can do most daily activities)
- A large tumor (at least 340 cubic centimeters or 7+ cm across) that could benefit from radiation
- No other proven treatment options available (surgery, chemotherapy, standard radiation, or immunotherapy won't help)
- If cancer has spread to the brain, only up to 3 spots and each smaller than 1 cm
- If cancer has spread elsewhere in the body, no more than 5 distant tumors, each 5 cm or smaller
