Who can take part

  • You are between 4 and 18 years old.
  • You have a condition that can be treated with a surgery called the YAMANE technique.
  • You are willing to come for check-ups for at least 3 months after the surgery.
  • You or your parent/guardian can sign a form saying you agree to be in the study.
  • You do not have other serious eye problems like glaucoma, retinal detachment, or crossed eyes (except for needing glasses).
  • You are not taking part in any other research study that could interfere with this one.
