Who can take part
- You are between 21 and 50 years old.
- Your nearsightedness is mild (up to -1.00 diopter) with little or no astigmatism (up to -2.00 diopters).
- Your prescription has been stable for at least a year (changed by 0.50 diopters or less).
- You have not worn contact lenses for at least 2 weeks before the eye exam.
- Your eyes are healthy—no keratoconus, severe dry eyes, glaucoma, or other active eye diseases.
- You are not pregnant or nursing, and have no health problems that affect healing (like diabetes or immune disorders).
