Who can take part
- You are a woman between 18 and 45 years old.
- You have a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or higher, or 35 or higher with obesity-related health problems, and are scheduled for your first weight-loss surgery (sleeve gastrectomy or gastric bypass).
- You are currently sexually active and have a stable partner.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or past menopause.
- You are not taking certain medications that can affect sexual function (like antidepressants, antipsychotics, or hormone therapy), unless you've been on a stable birth control for at least 3 months.
