Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You need a root canal on a tooth that has not been treated before.
  • You do not have an allergy to the cleaning solutions chlorhexidine or sodium hypochlorite.
  • You do not have a condition or take medication that changes how you feel pain (like diabetes with nerve damage, fibromyalgia, or daily painkillers).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • The tooth for treatment is not loose, doesn’t have an open tip (open apex), and its roots are not damaged.
