Fitness check for pro and amateur e-sports players

This study compares physical fitness between professional and amateur e-sports players ages 18–30. You'll do some simple fitness tests to help researchers understand how gaming affects your body.

Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 30 years old.
  • You must be able to read and understand Turkish.
  • You must be either a professional e-sports player (gaming 25+ hours/week, on a team, earning money/sponsorship) or an amateur e-sports player (gaming 15 or fewer hours/week, not on a pro team, no gaming income).
  • You must not have any heart, lung, or nerve conditions, or have had surgery in the last 6 months.
  • You must not be taking medication that affects physical performance, or be in physical therapy, or have an injury that could affect fitness testing.
