Who can take part

  • You have been referred to a hemophilia or bleeding disorder specialist because of unusual bruising or bleeding.
  • You have a higher-than-normal bleeding score (based on a standard questionnaire) or your doctor believes you have a clear bleeding problem.
  • Standard blood tests for common bleeding disorders (like von Willebrand disease, hemophilia, or platelet problems) have not found a clear cause.
  • You are not taking any blood-thinning medication that you cannot stop for a short time.
  • You are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You can give your permission to join the study.
