Who can take part

  • You must be between 1 and 17 years old.
  • You have had ITP (low platelets) for at least 12 months.
  • You have tried at least one first-line ITP treatment and it didn't work or your ITP came back.
  • Your platelet count was less than 30,000 within the last 48 hours before starting the study.
  • You must be generally active and able to do everyday activities (ECOG score 0, 1, or 2).
  • If you could have children, you must agree to use effective birth control during the study and for 3 months after the last dose.
