Who can take part

  • You are either a healthy person with no liver disease, or a patient diagnosed with liver cirrhosis (by imaging or biopsy) and have had chronic liver disease for over 6 months.
  • You are willing to take part and sign a consent form.
  • You have no history of severe organ disease (like serious heart, kidney, or stomach problems), cancer, or autoimmune conditions.
  • You have not had an acute infection or inflammatory illness in the past month.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
