Who can take part

  • You are 12 years old or older
  • You have a fever of 37.5°C or higher right now
  • You do not have severe illness or a serious infection affecting your brain or nervous system
  • You do not have asthma, COPD, severe respiratory illness, or any condition that makes it hard to give a breath sample
  • You have not taken any malaria medicine in the last 14 days
  • You are willing and able to give your consent to take part in the study
