Who can take part
- Be a healthy Thai adult age 20 to 55 and weigh at least 50 kg
- Have blood that is “Duffy positive” (a specific blood marker)
- If you are female: use reliable birth control the whole study and for 3 months after the infection
- Have had at least two approved COVID-19 vaccine doses
- Be able to stay in Bangkok area and be monitored in the hospital until treatment finishes
- After infection, be willing to take the full anti-malaria cure and not donate blood during the study and for 1 year after treatment starts
