Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and can agree to take part.
  • You need a molar tooth (upper or lower) removed and plan to get an implant right after.
  • Your dentist has decided you're a good candidate for immediate implant placement based on an exam and a CBCT scan (a type of 3D X-ray).
  • You have a CBCT scan from the last 4 weeks that will be used in the study.
  • Your gums and overall oral health are good enough for implant surgery.
