This study tests if using a mirror to create the illusion of moving your weaker arm can help your real arm recover better after a stroke. It is for people who have had a stroke more than 6 months ago, are 18 to 80, and still have some but not too much movement in their affected arm.

Who can take part
- Your stroke (either bleeding or clot) happened more than 6 months ago
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- Your affected arm has some movement — not too little and not too much (rated 2 to 6 on a common arm function test)
- You do not have any other brain or nerve disease besides stroke
- You do not have severe stiffness in your affected arm that makes movement very hard
- You are able to communicate with words (speaking or writing)
