Who can take part

  • Your stroke (either bleeding or clot) happened more than 6 months ago
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • Your affected arm has some movement — not too little and not too much (rated 2 to 6 on a common arm function test)
  • You do not have any other brain or nerve disease besides stroke
  • You do not have severe stiffness in your affected arm that makes movement very hard
  • You are able to communicate with words (speaking or writing)
