Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You need a single-chamber pacemaker for a slow heart rate (heart block) with or without atrial fibrillation.
  • You have never had a pacemaker, ICD, or CRT device before.
  • You are not completely dependent on a pacemaker (your own heart rate stays above 30 beats per minute).
  • You have not had a heart attack or unstable chest pain in the last 30 days.
