This study tests whether a special massage technique called connective tissue massage can help relieve chronic low back pain. If you have had back pain for at least 6 months, you may be able to join.

- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You have had low back pain for at least 6 months
- Your pain level is at least 4 out of 10
- You are not pregnant
- You do not have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cancer, or diabetes
- You have not broken your lower spine or had back surgery
